Fabulous Thought for Today May 8, 2008

I’ve always found it interesting that Maya Angelou said we should grab the world by the lapels. 

Her use of the fashion term could be a coincidence, or perhaps intentional. Who knows?

But one thing’s for sure - as part of the young and fabulous generation, we understand more than many other people that life’s a bitch.

And many times we respond in a not-so-fabulous way.

We wallow in pity, complain, take our frustrations out on the world and walk around looking a hot mess.

Ladies, I’ve learned that as women, we don’t only kick ass by closing a deal a huge deal at work or producing an A+ report for the boss.

I’m strongly convinced that we kick ass with our image, too.

So while we take on new challenges today and accomplish awesome things in this world, let’s make it a point to do it all with a swagger and a fabulous sense of style!
