It’s true.

Whenever a celeb endorses a product, we pay attention.

Today, it’s Kim Kardashian recommending CC Skye’s bangle collection with its fierce summer colors. In Kim’s blog post for July 23, she writes:

She is a Los Angeles native who traveled to all the way to Kathmandu, Nepal, to gain inspiration for her bohemian bracelets and bags. She even lived with a shaman in a mud hut in the hills of the Himalayas while filming a documentary on Hindus and Buddhists.

When she got back to the states, she says she began to approach design with a whole new perspective…

I am talking about designer CC Skye, and she makes the cutest accessories! I am so into bangle bracelets for the summer, and CC makes them in an array of eye-popping colors!

Bangles are an awesome way to spice up a casual t-shirt and jeans look or can be worn when you’re dressed up and going out.

Check out CC’s designs and let me know what you think!

It’s showing up in dresses, separates, and accessories, and is a sure hit in big graphic prints with touches of coral or navy.

Bold & Belted

For months now, it’s been all about the belt. We’ve seen skinny ones, fabric versions and even options for shorter women. Since the trend isn’t going anywhere, you might as well invest in more of the accessory.

Petite? Layer a wide belt over a flowy dress.

Pear shapes: stay monochromatic to avoid splitting up your uneven halves.

But that doesn’t mean you need to stick with brown or black.

Long and lean? Stick to an extra-wide corset belt over a slim pencil skirt or fitted dress to create curves. (Style Secret /

Accessories are important and becoming more and more important every day. They can completely change the look of an outfit, and women like the idea of having a wardrobe that’s versatile. For instance, a strong piece of jewelry can make a simple outfit look elegant. (Giorgio Armani)

Go for natural accessories and go neutral with earthy treats like embellished straw bags and wood bangles.
