Following his acclaimed Spring/Summer 2009 ready-to-wear show for Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs knew exactly who he wanted to embody the spirit of the season.

He chose Madonna.

The pop star will be the face of Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer fashion campaign.

She was photographed by her long-time creative collaborator Steven Meisel (this was also his first shoot for an LV campaign).

Apparently, the set is reminiscent of a Paris café in the Forties, with its zinc bar, bentwood chairs and air thick with smoke.

In the campaign, you’ll see Madonna transform into Marc Jacobs’ vision of the quintessential Parisienne, striking provocative poses in the season’s sexy short skirts, ethnic-inspired sandals and animal-print bangles.

Sean John Underwear has tapped Nelly as their new spokesmodel.

The first campaign features Nelly donning the Fall collection of underwear basics and loungewear. 

And he looks hot!

The campaign was shot by Randee St. Nicholas and showcases Nelly in both interior and exterior shots at a modern home overlooking Los Angeles.

Although he is the first spokesmodel for this category, Nelly follows a long list of past and present celebrity models for the Sean John brand including Dwayne Wade, Nas, Snoop Dog, Lil’ Wayne, Penelope Cruz, Cassie, and Lauren London.

The Sean John Underwear, Sleepwear and Loungewear collection includes the core silhouettes as well as signature styles in luxury fabrics and is available at Macy’s and better department and specialty stores nationwide.

SKECHERS USA, Inc. has signed 2008 American Idol winner David Cook to a global endorsement agreement.

This deal marks the first male celebrity to make SKECHERS’ roster since 2002 (actor Robert Downey Jr. was the first male face of the global brand).

With exclusive worldwide rights to advertise footwear using Cooks image through December 2009, SKECHERS will feature the 25-year-old singer in various SKECHERS styles through a campaign they say will reflect his personality, interests and appeal.

The campaign launches Fall 08 to coincide with the PopTarts American Idols Live! Tour 2008, and the debut of Davids first post-Idol album on 19 Recordings/RCA Records.

The SKECHERS Cook campaign will include print, outdoor and in-store ads.
